Lions District 5M8 is part of Lions Clubs International — the world's largest service organization. Our 70+ Minnesota clubs answer local needs with global support.

Our Mission

To empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace, and promote international understanding through Lions Clubs.

Founded in 1917, Lions Clubs International has grown to more than 1.4 million members in over 200 countries. District 5M8 represents the Lions of central and eastern Minnesota.

Our Global Causes

Vision

Sight-saving programs, eyeglass recycling, and screenings since Helen Keller called Lions her Knights of the Blind.
